‘Poem-19’ Lockdown, self-isolation after weeks and weeks and with limited supplies, a few sheets of Japanese paper and a vat of indigo. I fold the paper over and over into a triangle shape which acts as a kind of calming experience then submerge in the indigo and let the fermentation do its magic when I take out watching green turn to blue always amazes me. Time moves slowly.
Unfolding I reflect and feel that if you turn yourself into a doorway , a space where anything is possible . I mix up indigo pigment and paint the doorway.
